Originally a World War II Army Air Corp training facility, the Kingman Airport and Industrial Park is approximately 4,000 acres in size. It is situated along historic Route 66, five miles from Interstate 40 and Highway 93. The main line of the Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railroad is adjacent to the facility with rail switching operations within the park five days a week.

The airport is rated for DC-9 and 737-type aircraft with a 6,830-foot by150-foot main runway. Commuter air service to Phoenix is offered daily.
